So without further ado.
+Cannabis
Cannabis is a plant which contains about 400 active ingredients. With the most active one being Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is psychoactive and affects the brain.
Marijuana (Weed, Grass) comes from the flowers and leaves of the female cannabis plant and hashish is dried resin secreted by the plant. Both marijuana and hashish are mixed mostly with tobacco. This is one of the most widespread substances consumed with tobacco, alcohol and caffeine.
The use of cannabis relaxes, excites and stimulates the appetite. It can cause dizziness and vomiting, especially the first time. The effects of cannabis last 1-2 hours (depending on quantity and quality).
The use of cannabis can cause various psychological and physical effects, like:
Palpitations, red eyes, dry mouth, increased appetite and drowsiness. The perception is influenced and difficulties in concentration can be noticed. The duration of attention is reduced, the memory, coordination, the feeling of time and the ability to learn are all affected.
The continuous use of cannabis can lead to a psychological addiction, turning the recreational use into a habit, even to an obsession.
The frequent use of cannabis can lead to apathy and loss of interest. It can also cause chronic bronchitis, depressive feelings or irritability.
For people with mental problems cannabis can cause serious psychiatric disorders (Psychosis, Paranoia)
The younger a person starts consuming cannabis the higher the chances for side-effects and adverse effects.
