The trouble never stops - In Iraq
Friday, February 7, 2020
It seems that the trouble in Iraq has been, is being, and will continue to be. From the times of pre-Nato invasion. During the invasion and now that the troops have "Left" and the war has "Ended".
The news from this week in Iraq are plenty.
An unidentified attacker threw a grenade at people leaving a Mosque in Baghdat, killing 6 and injuring at least 10 before fleeing in an unkown direction. The police has began the search for the attacker, but i wouldn't exactly hold my breath.
The other story is two car bombs that went off - again - in Baghdat, killing 7 (one of which a police officer) and injuring at least 5 people.
No group has claimed responsibility for these attacks.
The violence in Iraq has risen considerably in April as noted by the UN assistance mission for Iraq. With the number of killings reaching a number over 700 people.
Personally i don't see an ending to these type of stories from Iraq (and not only) any time in the near future. War or no War. Unfortunately.
