History of Religion begins simultaneously with the history of man. The true meaning of religion could be summed up in three words: Worship, Faith and Morality.

Scientology

The Church of Scientology is a movement founded by L. Ron Hubbard in 1952.

The teachings are kept secret from members who have not yet reached the higher levels because it is said that the teachings can be dangerous for members who are not properly prepared for them . At these higher levels, Hubbard explains how to reverse the effects of a bad past experience, which may extend over millions of years in the past.

Among these teachings is the story of Xenu, who was an evil alien leader of the Galactic Federation. According to this story, 75 million years ago some of the aliens under his command decided to revolt, but Xenu was smart and prepared for them. So he crushed the revolt and brought billions of alien souls to one planet as punishment. That planet is Earth.

Alien soul-rebels remained on the planet (now know as Earth) until today, and all the problems that we (humans) have, is the result of the occupation of our bodies by the souls of aliens.

The central idea of this church is that all people are immortal spiritual beings who do not remember their true nature. Its proponents are trying to re-live forgotten past experiences and be released.

I have summed up the very very basics. No matter how wide i open my mind. I honestly fail to understand how can people woship, this. But the fact that i cannot understand does not make it false and anyone has the right to believe whatever they want to without being ridiculed or persecuted.

p.s I am an Atheist.

(Note: I'm re-posting this article now in February 2016, and I've worked out my religious label. I'm Agnostic!)
