I would like to share a simple method with you good folks about how to save money using Lighters Fluid. It's easy and simple to do. Bear with me here for a minute.
I have been smoking for a decade now. It's been exactly one decade since i started smoking. Now alcohol and other various substances came and went, but tobacco and I stayed loyal friends to each other throughout the years and hardships.
In the earlier years, money was not such a big deal. The salaries were high. The cigarettes prices were low. There was work on every corner, so saving money wasn't as big a deal as it is today, at least for me.
But now the problem has become huge. The government is taxing the he.. life out of everything. Cigarettes are 75% more expensive than they were 10 years ago around here. I swear to God they are.
So one thing i used to do and would always notice other people doing is losing and throwing away perfectly good lighters that work, but have ran out of gas. Ain't that a waste, considering most of those lighters are re-fillable. So as the financial sitaution got tougher, the pockets got emptier and saving money became a priority, some measures had to be taken. Now i will share with you a simple tip for saving money with lighters fluid. Who knew?!
For one, try to buy lighters that can be re-filled. And most importantly, when your lighter runs out of gas, DO NOT throw it away. Put it back in your pocket and when you eventualy get home, take the small gas bottle and re-fill your lighter. And poof, like magic, it works again.
So instead of buying 3 lighters a week, you can buy one small gas bottle every six months. While your lighter can serve you for months as long as you're careful and don't lose it during one of your drunken exits with mates and fe-mates. :)
There you go folks. I just saved you a couple of cents or a couple of dollars. The actual amount depends on your losing/throwing away/purchasing lighters habits....
